Francoobla Music has put four music, artificial-intelligence and intellectual-property projects up for acquisition, offering them together or individually to companies, platforms, entertainment groups and investors. The Nov. 2 announcement covers AI vs. HI, MAJESTATIS SEVEN, MUSICAL KOLOSSAL and DRAFT REGULATION, which the company says were developed over more than a decade.

The founder, Italian pianist, composer and entrepreneur Franco Oblatore, said he was seeking organisations with the resources, infrastructure and distribution capacity to take the concepts to an international audience. At 78, he described the projects as the result of years of creative, technical and personal investment; Francoobla Music identified the United States as its initial target market, followed by the United Kingdom, China, India, Japan and South Korea.

The offer follows Francoobla Music’s October appeal for an established organisation to take forward AI vs. HI, as covered in October. That format is intended to compare AI-generated music and human-created performances under standardised playback-listening conditions, and includes performances by the virtual vocalist Lady Jane directed by Oblatore.

MAJESTATIS SEVEN is a proposed mathematical approach to assessing similarities in music and lyrics. It suggests thresholds of seven consecutive identical melodic notes, or seven consecutive words in the same syntactic and conceptual order. Francoobla Music’s earlier MAJESTATIS 7+7 protocol set out 12 principles and proposed applying the same criteria to human-created and AI-generated music, but it does not alter copyright law, supersede legal standards or establish binding requirements.

MUSICAL KOLOSSAL is a 24-track digital production in five languages, designed for international audiences. Most tracks feature Lady Jane, while the package includes concepts for visual presentation, choreography, staging and lighting, as well as possible stage and television adaptations. An Oct. 21 announcement described the 24 tracks as selected from a catalog of 200 original Lady Jane recordings.

DRAFT REGULATION is a 30-point operational framework for organising the AI vs. HI format. It proposes procedures and criteria for human-versus-machine musical evaluation and incorporates principles on authorship, similarity assessment and intellectual-property protection.

Potential buyers named by the company include broadcasters, television networks, record labels, digital-music platforms, social-media companies, technology corporations and private investors. Francoobla Music said the acquisition could include the projects’ concepts, creative assets and associated materials.
