MakeBestMusic launched a style-switching arrangement workflow on Oct. 29 that lets users audition the same lyrics as Rock, Pop and Jazz tracks in about 30 seconds. The Custom Mode feature is available immediately through the company’s online AI music-generator studio.

The release is aimed at independent songwriters and digital creators deciding which musical setting best serves a lyric. IPS News reported that the workflow is intended to let them test contrasting musical traditions without studio hardware, a task that can otherwise be slowed by complex arrangement software.

MakeBestMusic’s generator turns natural-language scene directions into multi-instrument orchestration, removing the need for manual MIDI programming. Alex Morgan, the company’s head of audio intelligence, said assessing whether words suited an intense rock arrangement or an intimate jazz setting had previously taken days.

The company presents the feature as a way for independent artists worldwide to explore stylistic options within seconds. Its broader browser-based tool allows users to start with a description, style selection or lyrics, then customize lyrics, vocals, melodies and arrangements without downloads or prior music-production experience.

The platform lists Rock, R&B, Pop, Electronic, Film Score and Bluegrass among its available categories. Its custom-lyrics workflow allows choices over genre, mood, vocal style and advanced settings, while a separate instrumental mode creates vocal-free music from descriptions of a mood, atmosphere or scene.

MakeBestMusic says its wider product suite includes Text-to-Music, Voice Cover, Stem Splitter, Lyrics Studio, MIDI Sequencer and automated music mastering. It also says generated music can be used for social media, video, games, marketing, personal projects, storytelling, branding and commercial projects, subject to its commercial-licensing options.
